my psp stopped working?

ok its not mine but my nephew dropped and my aunt asked me if i could fugure out what was wrong with it. she siad he dropped it and now UMD wont show up. i tried a lot of things and am pretty sure it is broken.
can you give me any troubleshooting?
it does not show the UMD thing
its like there isnt a game in there but there is
