Psp Manager 3.0
My psp wont upgrade to ver.5.03?
Hi, I’ve been trying (for days) to upgrade my psp to version 5.03, I’m only doing this as i’m prompted to when i try to connect my psp to ‘media manager for psp 3.0′/sony store to download items onto my psp.
I follow the instructions I have the ‘UPGRADE’ folder which contains the EBOOT.pbp within it (although it doesn’t open on my computer if i double click on it) and on my psp memory stick there is the ‘PSP Update ver 5.03′ but when I select this it comes up with ‘the game could not be started. (80020001)’.
Sorry for the long winded explanation but I’m not very technologically minded so am trying to explain the issue the best i can. I am at a complete loss as to what the problem is or how to fix it, I would appreciate any help anyone has for me. (My psp is currently on system software ver 3.95).
i would suggest using network update on the home menu of psp. its much easier than doing all that computer junk(no offense) all you need is a wifi connection and the memory stick. if you dont have wifi connection go to a friends house. somone will have one
