Psp Image Files

I’m new to PSP Photo X2 and not sure what I need to add basic animations in signature tags, etc.?

While I’ve been able to figure most of PSP’s basic functions and love it, I’d like to play a bit with animations. I did download JASC Animation Shop 3.11 thinking that is what I needed as an addition program but is this correct? I saved a test image in PSP as a PSP Animation Shop (.psp) file and tried to open it in Animation Shop, but I don’t see the text. I don’t mind trying to figure things out on my own usually, but need a nudge in the right direction.

Will these two programs work together? What file extension should I have to use in AS.

Can anyone point me to a site that would have a tutorial to get me started using these programs or whatever I should have to animate PSP Photo Photo X2 images.

Open your ‘test image’ in PSP. Have you got 2 layers there? One being the picture/image and the other the text? If so, the reason you aren’t seeing your text in AS is because it isn’t merged to one file. So now you just click edit then copy merged and then paste it into Animation shop. Then you should be able to see both your image and text in AS.
Stick with it, I know it can be frustrating at first but once you master it you’ll love it like me =D

Also I just thought I’d add that there are a few yahoo animation shop groups out there. I joined one a couple of months ago and have already learned so much.
