Can I change memory stick on a chipped/flashed PSP?

I bought a chipped PSP from my friend and I want to get a 8GB memory stick instead of 4GB. Is it possible to just switch cards or do I need to do something with the new memory stick? I want to put more games in my PSP (duh)

Yes you can if your psp is flashed {hacked} and you change the memory stick it will work properly
you have to just put the memory stick in psp conect to pc and make a iso folder paste a game in it .
