Psp Breakdown
Continuous Play For Playstation?
I broke my psp inner screen, by dropping it on it’s side (accidentally!) and had heard last year about continuous play, a service that replaces broken playstations for a fixed monthly fee. If i signed up and requested one, i expect the courier will come to collect it in return for a new one. now i have two questions.
In the T&C’s it says:
” Protection is also not provided for the following:
…
* Non European (PAL) units ”
Mine is a Japanese one (PSP-1000) bought off eBay, so, technically, i can’t qualify. but will the couriers actually check that it is the right model?
Also, It is a non-Slim&Lite model, so if they do trade it, would I receive a Slim&Lite, or not. And would it be new, and not a refurbished one?
PS: They will take it in if I tell them i dropped it; it has this in the T&C’s: “The replacement of your Equipment, normally with no bills to pay, following mechanical or electrical breakdown, or damage by accidents”
The courier is unlikely to check it, but it will almost certainly be noticed that it isn’t a PAL unit durin g repair. You will then probably be charged.
Dropping it would count as an accident so you should be covered there.
